Welcome to Room 8!  Come in and have a look around!

This is our coatroom.  Each child has his/her own hook and shelf space.

These shelves are in the coatroom and contain leveled books the children will bring home to read as part of our Bag-A-Book program.

Our lunch choice board is against the file cabinet that is next to the sink as you enter from the coatroom.  Children will indicate their lunch selection when they arrive each morning.

We have a small book nook next to our meeting area.  Several shelves of books are in this area and a few other shelves are spread around the classroom.  Children are welcome to read in this area during SSR.

I love books, and I also love being organized.  As a result, every single book in our classroom library is assigned a category basket and labeled in the corner with the corresponding category.  This goes a long way in making sure that books are returned to their correct location.

My table.  I did away with my desk this year which opened up more space in my classroom!  I can meet with small groups of children here.
