Dear Families,
We have made it to Winter Break! It doesn’t seem possible that it’s almost 2010, let alone Christmas! Where is the time going???
We had a good week. We did many fun activities this week, including making your parent gift and card. The children worked hard and spent a lot of time on them. I hope you like them! I am also sending home the projects your child has made over the past few weeks as we have learned about celebrations around the world.
We had our class party this yesterday and a Polar Express Day today. The children enjoyed several fun activities! The party was a great success, thanks to my wonderful planners and parent helpers!
I hope you have a safe, fun and restful break. I’m not assigning any homework over break besides the January monthly homework, but I encourage you to read to your child and have him/her read to you every day.
As I reflect on the school year so far, I want you to know how grateful I am for all of you. Your continued support and involvement are a blessing to me and to your child. I feel so fortunate to have a job that I love, and to be surrounded by such wonderful people!
